It recieves funding for its projects from the NSW Department of community Services, NSW Department of aged, Disability and Home Care and the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous affairs. VisionThe Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre is an integral part of a community where residents requiring community information and referral services recieve sufficient support to enable them to make informed choices about their lives. MissionThe Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre is a non profit organisation that identifies local community needs, provides relevant information, referral and other services to empower and improve the quality of life for community members and groups Neighbourhood centre's believe in The right of people to make choices in their own lives The right of people to dignity, respect, privacy and confidentiality The right of people to be valued as individuals The right of people to access services on a non discriminatory basis The right of the community to accoutable and responsive services Services availableInformation Computer, photocopier, Fax, Laminating Basic computer support/tutorials one on one with a volunteer Resumes and application letters Volunteer information sessions New Resident Book with Information and contact details for local support groups, sporting groups, local community organisations and childcare.
