Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving is Port Stephens number 1 community group, with something for everyone ranging from 5 years and up. Some of the clubs programs and iniatives include:
- An award winning youth development program
- An award winning surf education program
- A flexible and friendly training program
- A social atmosphere and a welcoming club
- Members drinks over looking Fingal Bay
- Redevelopment of the clubhouse to ensure we are the number one Surf Club in Australia
- Regular training and fitness sessions for all members
- Community involvement through a range of other community groups and government agaencies
- BBQs every Sunday on the beach

Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club has won many accolades in its short history these include:
- Hunter Surf Life Saver of the Year - twice
- 5 x winner of the friendliest beach in the Hunter (KAB awards)
- Winner of the 2008 Young Legend award at State and Regional for our Youth Development Program (KAB Awards)
- Winner of the Hunter Surf Life Saving Excellence in Education Award for our training and development programs
- Invited to the National Leaders Conference for Surf Life Saving Australia to discuss our programs and iniatives
- Host of the Hunter Branch Champions for the next three years
- Host of the NSW Surf Life Saving Inter Branch Titles
- Host of the NSW Junior Surf Life Saving Titles
- Home to over three Australian Champions
- Home club of two Olympians
- Home club of the Australian High Performance coach
- Our club members have won over 30 state medals

We have something for everyone from patrols, nippers, training, coaching, admin, fundraising and sponsorship. So come along and give it a go!!!
